Culinary Medicine Culture
FOOD, CULTURE & CULINARY MEDICINE TRAVEL
Some of the best ways to understand a destination begin with food.
PlansConnect creates immersive travel experiences that explore the connections among food, culture, health, agriculture, and community. From farmers markets and farms to kitchens and tables, these experiences introduce travelers to the people, traditions, and local food systems that shape how communities eat and live.
Culinary medicine adds another layer to that exploration, inviting us to consider not only what we eat, but how food, culture, access, and environment influence health.
Travel with purpose. Learn through experience. Return with a broader perspective.
WHO THESE EXPERIENCES ARE FOR
For Curious Travelers
These experiences are for curious travelers, including, but not limited to, healthcare professionals.
Some programs may have particular relevance for healthcare, public health, nutrition, or food-system professionals, while others are simply opportunities to experience a destination through its food and culture.

Looking for a different kind of trip?
Not every trip needs to be centered around culinary medicine.
Through EatMoveSeeTravels, my travel advisory business affiliated with Fora Travel, I also help individuals, couples, families, and groups plan leisure travel based on their own interests, priorities, and travel style.
Whether food is the focus of your trip, one part of the experience, or simply something you enjoy along the way, travel should reflect how you want to experience a destination.
Please note: Culinary Medicine Culture experiences do not currently offer Continuing Medical Education (CME) credit.
